GreenStar Council News for April 2024

Highlights from the April Council Meeting

At its April regular meeting, Council listened to a presentation from Finger Lakes Toy Library GreenStar’s April Partners for Change recipient and received the General Manager’s Monthly Report.

Additionally, Council approved the following proposals:

• B.1.4Q23 Financial Condition Policy Monitoring Report
• B.10 Product Line Policy Monitoring Report
• Policy to clarify conditions for transfer of member preferred shares 
• Send 3 Council members to Consumer Cooperative Management Association Annual Conference in Portland, ME May 29-June 2, 2024

Council also reviewed the following New Business items:

• B.2 Planning and Budgeting Monitoring Report
• Amendments to the Council Travel Procedure 
• Draft Fresh Start Bylaws

From 6:15 – 6:30 PM GreenStar members are invited to join Council members for an opportunity to engage in conversation. This 15 minute period is an “open-mic” format and will be recurring – taking place ahead of the GreenStar Council meeting every second Tuesday of the month.
