Earth Day Clean-Up

 

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped with the Earth Day Cayuga Waterfront Trail Clean-up. The event started at 10 am with clean-ups stations all along the trail. Groups from the Friends of Stewart Park, the Ithaca Farmers Market, TC Dog Park, Ithaca College,  Alpha Chi Omega service fraternity at Cornell, along with volunteers from the community picked up trash,  removed items from the lake shore, pruned,  and did some landscaping projects along the whole trail. GreenStar and over 20 volunteers cleaned up the West End section of the trail from the Seneca St. bridge to the Ithaca College boathouse. Take a walk and check out the improvements.
