Grab a Juice to Go, Made Fresh Daily!

Juice it up! There’s no longer any need to wait for GreenStar’s organic, fresh-pressed juices. Four vitamin- and mineral-packed varieties are now being bottled in our Kitchen daily, ready for you to grab at any of our three locations. One glance at the label shows you exactly what’s in each bottle — nothing but fresh, organic, raw fruits and vegetables. “If it’s not organic, it doesn’t go in,” says Deli Manager Chad Smith, “and we use local produce whenever possible. We’re dedicated to using the highest-quality ingredients.”

Choose from four varieties, all ready to go in 16-ounce bottles: Green Machine (a nutritious kale, apple, and lemon combo), Feel the Beet (a slightly-sweet apple, beet, and lemon blend), Orange Zinger (a zesty orange and carrot pairing with a dash of ginger), or a simple organic, fresh-squeezed orange juice. Look for them in the Deli area at the West End, Collegetown, and DeWitt stores.

Of course, if you prefer something different, you can order juices pressed on-site at the West End store. The juice menu includes four six-ingredient blends, a cleanser, a selection of shots, and a juice special that changes according to seasonal produce availability. On the permanent menu are: Iron Maiden (a powerhouse blend of apple, beet, lemon, kale, spinach, and arugula), Immunity (carrot, ginger, garlic, lemon, apple, celery — it’ll knock a cold right out of you!), Green Giant (a super-nutrient-dense mix of apple, cucumber, celery, kale, spinach, parsley), Bee Well Elixir (another immune-booster: carrot, orange, lemon, apple, ginger, honey), and Lemonade Cleanser (lemon, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper — not for the faint of heart!). Shots of wheatgrass, lemon and ginger, or lemon-ginger-echinacea are always available, too.

The current special, Citrus Sunrise, takes advantage of the winter citrus season, offering a tangy-sweet orange, apple, grapefruit, lemon blend.

And you can always build your own. Be wildly experimental or keep coming back for your own tried-and-true best blend. Come in to the West End and select your own six ideal juice ingredients from our list of four bases (carrot, apple, celery, cucumber), and ten add-in ingredients, all organic.

Whichever you choose – bottled, made-to-order off the menu, or made-to-order with your own selection of ingredients – GreenStar’s juices offer a fresh, healthy – and delicious! – way to boost your consumption of fresh, organic and local fruits and veggies!
