Highlights from the January Council Meeting
At its January regular meeting, Council received information about Seneca Lake Guardians GreenStar’s January Partners for Change recipient, and received the General Manager’s Monthly Report.
Council said farewell to outgoing Council members, seated newly elected Council members, and elected new officers for 2026:
- President – RJ Isley
- Vice President – Marilyn Chase
- Treasurer – Michael Buffett
- Secretary – Joshua Adams
Council also approved the following proposals:
- Reappointment of at-large members to Council committees
- Finance Committee – Kaiya Bercow
- Governance Committee – Suzanne Motheral
- B.9 – GM Succession Plan Policy Monitoring Report
Council reviewed the following New Business items:
- Draft 3.Q 2025 B.1 – Financial Condition Monitoring Report
- Proposal to Repeal Council Procedure: Member Communications
