GreenStar Council News for March 2025

Highlights from the March Council Meeting

At its March regular meeting, Council received information about Ithaca Community Gardens GreenStar’s March Partners for Change recipient and received the General Manager’s Monthly Report.

Council approved the following proposals:

• Appoint Pamela Coleman as an at Large Member to the Finance Committee
• B.10 – Product Line Policy Monitoring
• B.0 – Global GM Constraint Policy Monitoring
• B.6 – Staff Treatment and Compensation Policy Monitoring
• End the 15-minute “open mic” segment prior to each Council meeting

Council reviewed the following New Business items:

• 4.Q.2024 B.1 – Financial Condition Policy Monitoring
• Proposal to consider sending Council members to the 2025 Consumer Cooperative Management Association (CCMA) Conference
