Thanksgiving Cranberry Recipes

Oh cranberry sauce, why are you enjoyed for such a short time of the year? Whether you like canned, jellied, or homemade, cranberry sauce is a staple at the Thanksgiving table.

This recipe is an easy make-ahead dish. The tangy flavor improves from sitting overnight.

 

Quick Cranberry  Sauce

1 12oz. bag or 3 cups of cranberries

½ cup apple cider

1 tsp. minced orange zest

½ cup sugar

 

Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan.

Boil until the berries pop open (approx. 5 minutes).

Refrigerate several hours before serving.

Makes approx. 4 cups
