The Special Vote Passed … What’s Next?!
Since the votes were tallied in early April, our General Manager and the expansion team has been working hard to get the expansion project going. In April we held two all staff meetings where we discussed our proposed store layout, brainstormed ideas for new products and services, and collected general expansion feedback. It’s all starting to come together and it’s truly been a cooperative effort.
Just this week, we passed our first site plan evaluation and now we can move this design forward for final site plan approval by the City in June or July.

To keep you up-to-date, here’s a condensed timeline of the expansion project as it is presently progressing. Much of these items overlap because we are on a compressed timeframe to reach completion. These dates are subject to change.

GreenStar to approve purchase agreement for the sale of 700 & 702 West Buffalo Street properties. Closing to occur sometime in 2019
August 31, 2018
GreenStar to obtain lender financing for West End expansion
September 2018 – November 2018
Cultivate Your Co-op! Capital Campaign for GreenStar Owners to invest in West End expansion through the purchase of Investment Shares!
