Little Buddhas Yoga Art on display in our kids’ area.

Stop by our West End Store kids’ area during the month of July to see this terrific display of Nature Mandalas created by students in Little Buddhas Yoga classes, ages 3-11. Mandala comes from the Sanskrit word meaning circle. Mandalas have a concentric geometric structure and represent harmony, balance, unity, infinity, and the universe. The creation of a mandala is an activity that strengthens focus and promotes inner calm. Mandala features can hold significant meaning or symbolism to a group or individual. Mandalas created with natural elements are temporary, giving children a chance to appreciate the balance between creation and destruction, giving, taking and letting go. The Little Buddhas website is under construction, but for more information on the Little Buddhas school, library, or community programs you can click here, or email LittleBuddhasYogaDiane@gmail.com.
